This letter being sent refers to a “Patented Flood Mitigation System”, also known as “Flood Guardian”. In New Jersey alone, from Cape May to the valleys along the Delaware Water Gap, and every small town and city in-between, the need for flood mitigation is critical, as you are well aware of. Personally living in a one-square mile community, where 30% of it is in a flood zone, I’ve witnessed several times over the decades, the devastation associated with hurricanes and flash flooding, along with the mental and financial impact it has on hard working residents and businesses..

Right now you might be asking yourself, why is ColeZar Flood Protection, LLC contacting us, and the answer is simple, we are looking to either partner up with companies whose business aligns with ours, and who are interested in opening up a huge avenue of revenue, in a market controlled by a few. We would also be receptive to “Selling Our Patent Outright” along with all production dies, molds, and stock ranging between $400k to $700k retail. These prices reflect the wide range of per-square foot numbers given customers by rival Flood Mitigation Companies”, and being in the business for one of these companies years ago, I witnessed the substantial profit they made not only on the product, but I also witnessed that the bigger profit at times was in the secondary construction on more complex residential & commercial applications. (Re-enforce walls, pouring concrete footings, and wielding specialty pieces, i.e. inside and outside corners, extension mounts, etc...)

Now a little history regarding our “Flood Guardian System”, it is comprised of a high grade 6061 extruded aluminum profile, with EPDM gaskets, and tested over a 48 hour period, at our facility, to successfully hold back waters 5’ high by 9’ wide. Fact: we all know that waters this high could take down foundations, and send vehicles floating down streets, but millions across the country are mainly concerned with “Flash Flooding” which recedes rather quickly. The truth being, anyone who has experienced this in the past can attest, even flash flooding leaves behind substantial damage to mechanicals, furnishings, electricity, sheetrock, insulation, and the list goes on and on. We also need to recognize the financial and emotional toll it takes, while tradesmen spend months ripping apart your home or business, replacing everything lost or damaged. With this in mind, “Flood Guardian” can provide the protection needed against future catastrophes.
Now the options available: #1- Due to extenuating family circumstances, selling the Patent, stock, along with all dies associated with manufacturing. #2 – We would partner, and align ourselves with an established and reputable company, with trained professionals capable of addressing any installation situation thrown their way. If interested in learning more, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Patent & Stock "For Sale"

FEMA is No Longer a Cash Cow for Disaster Relief.

Why Home Flood Barriers Will Become Essential in 2026
Picture this: a torrent of rain swallows your street. You dial FEMA, only to hear, “We’re backlogged.” By the time inspectors arrive, your floors are warped, mold is blooming, and your claim is snarled in red tape. In 2025 alone, FEMA lost nearly $300 million in flood mitigation funding—just as “once in a century” floods are striking every 8–10 years. Waiting for rescue is no longer a strategy.
Proactive flood protection is.
Why FEMA Can’t Save Your Home Anymore: Shrinking Budgets FEMA’s Disaster Relief Fund had just $534 million left for the entire country as of February 2025. When the next major storm hits, those dollars will disappear fast.
Delayed Aid & Red Tape
In Hurricane Helene’s aftermath, many survivors waited five months for meaningful assistance. During that limbo, floors rot and debt climbs.
Insurance Gaps
Average water damage claims top $14,000, yet NFIP payouts average $12,500—and many private insurers no longer write new flood policies in high risk zones.
The Bottom Line
Relying on federal aid is like asking an understaffed lifeguard to find you after you’ve already slipped beneath the waves.

Why Home Flood Barriers Will Soon Be Essential
• More Floods, More Often
Climate charge storms now deliver a month’s rain in a single day. High tide events along U.S. coastlines are 300–900 % more frequent than 50 years ago.
• Smaller Safety Nets
Future federal disaster reimbursements may cover only 25 % of costs, leaving homeowners and states to shoulder the rest.
• Insurance in Retreat
Premiums are skyrocketing, deductibles are widening, and some insurers are abandoning coastal and river markets entirely.
• Resale Reality
Lenders and real estate agents increasingly treat documented flood mitigation measures—like portable barriers—as must have features

Protect your Home, Family, and all you cherish.

To Whom It May Concern,

My name is William Coleman, inventor of the “Patented” Flood Guardian System. Working previously in the business for many years, I know we are one of but a handful of Flood Plank Companies in the industry, but we are one that addresses both the residential and commercial market. With recent reports putting flood mitigation at a 37 Billion Dollar industry within the next year or two, the mitigation business will become even more profitable, not only for the initial sale of the product, but also the installation as well. With insurance companies drastically backing away from covering high risk areas, or putting premium payment way out of reach, the need for flood mitigation has become a necessity.
To be honest, and knowing the industry, I designed Flood Guardian to be comprised of components that didn’t need complex secondary applications, guaranteeing a quick “Order to Delivery” turnaround. Yes I sold millions between material and installation labor for a prior company, but their downfall was their 12 to 14
week turnaround, and when in a flood zone like I am, and at the mercy of Hurricane Season, this is unacceptable. Flood Guardian is a simple application where all our profiles are a cut, cleaned, receive gaskets, and out the door. Simple, fast, and proven! Flood Guardian was also greatly received by mayors, architects, engineers and homeowners, after we attended, this year’s New Jersey League of Municipalities Show in Atlantic City, as a vendor.

Regarding the sale, everything is in place and ready to go, testing, web site, brochures, stock, and dies, but because of personal health issues, my main concern is family, and at 75 years old, I am motivated to move fast and amicably for all parties concerned, giving an aggressive company a good leg up on a thriving business opportunity. If there are any questions, please contact me, and may 2026 be a great year for all of us…

Regards & Thank You,
William Coleman, President

Our first documented water retention test performed at our facility. 34" High x 96" Wide Second test was 72" High x 96" Wide and both performed perfect... Over a 48 hour period, only 2.88 gallons of water seeped until the vertical & horizontal pressure increased on the gaskets, making it tighter.
