For those who are curious about how these homes get assembled on site, our process goes like this:

Step 1: our foundation gets layed off to match our panel diagram, so that we make sure our plans are matching up with reality.

Step 2: we secure our custom steel brackets to the panel and to the telehandler and crane. It is important that this is done properly as these panels can weight 1000 pounds and a slip is very dangerous

Step 3: apply silicone to the side of the previous panel and to the foundation. Air tightness and control is a big part of energy efficiency and moisture management, so proper detailing is imperative.

Step 4: lift the panel into place, ratchet it tightly to the previous panels and secure with nails and heavy duty screws.

Thats pretty much all there is to it, as most of the building of the walls happens in our warehouse!

Our Next Project is nearly ready for assembly, the panels are almost done and the floor framing is ready!
Our wonderful clients, Timothy and Amber, have started a page for those who want to see more of a play by play of their project Straw Bale Home is the link, I'm sure they will be posting some interesting footage as well.

This will be the largest panelized house we have built! We are thrilled to have the opportunity to build with these folks. Our next project will be a cheesemaking facility, which will be our first commercial project. Thank you all for your interest. If you are interested in getting a house built, and live in the Virginia, Tennessee, West Virginia and North Carolina area please reach out!
