Nov 2nd. A little less than a month after my first run to Burnsville, NC to deliver supplies to Smoky Ridge Health & Rehab, and here are the number so far.

1948 miles traveled.
98.48 hours
288.6 gallons of 93 octane
6.7mpg average.

One backhoe attachment purchased for my John Deere 2038r from Meade Tractor. We started with 78 hours on the tractor, and now have 122 hours movin' dirt for those that can't afford to pay someone to do it.

One new trailer purchased from Leanord trailer sales in Danville, Va.

Many, many changes to my load out in the Freedom Motorsports recovery Raptor.

It's been one heck of a ride thus far. So many new friends, so many people helped, I've never felt so good to be so exhausted by the end of each day, and I've never been so thankful for God's rejuvinating Grace each morning.

Thank you to all those that have donated to my fubd raising efforts, without your support, I wouldn't be able to continue to provide this assistance that is still so desparately needed by so many!

Over the past three weeks of helping the recovery effprts in Western NC and Eastern TN, I've been able to make adjustments to ehat gear I take to make sure I'm efficiently self sufficient while there.

The list of gear carried in the bed includes a tent, "sea bag" with three military surplus sleeping bags (in case someone else needs one as well), four thick army surplus blankets, Camp Chef propane stove, 17" charcoal grill, portable toilet, 2300w generator, Big Buddy heater with 17lb propane tank, two tool bags with everything I need to service or repair the Raptor, small battery jump box, cooler in the bed for food like meats for grilling, balogna, cheese, condaments and otherwise, spare axle shafts and other spare parts, several first aid kits, bag of extra ratchet straps, cordless drills, impact, sawzaw and Stihl chain saw, spare fluids, grease, spark plugs, wires, WD40, hose clamps, Snapon scanner, tire plug kits, jumper cables, secondary battery in the bed, dual Viair 400c compressors for onboard air (and of course, 7 trumpet air horn), onboard extra gas can, and more.

With an ICOM 2730a dual band mobile radio, several Boefang handhelds, Starlink Roam Mini, another cooler for drinks inside the cab. While I have other things on my list that I want to add as I am able, thus far, this setup is proving to be everything I need.

NOW taking pre-orders! Like our first collaboration with the Gen1 dead pedals many years ago, Freedom Motorsports and Craven Speed have worked closely the last few months on a simple and cheap mod to help all us short folks.

It has been known that Gen2 Ecoboost Raptors can consume oil, even more so if you drive hard on and off-road, as stated in Ford’s own owners manual. I (Rick Faria) am 5’ 11” and could never reach the oil dipstick without something to stand on. It’s even worse when you install Eibach springs or FRS 3.0 like I have with added preload to raise the front.

We have been working with Craven for months to design something better so we could check the oil while on the ground, and we finally have a product to introduce to the Raptor community.

The all new extended oil dipstick tube handle utilizes the stock dipstick itself and replaces the stock dipstick handle. It is machined out of billet aluminum and has a double o-ring for extra protection against dirt and water.

Solid, functional, and affordable, this new dipstick handle is awesome! It also fits Gen1 Raptors, as seen below on Chris Kelley's 2014.
