Twenty-five years ago, September 11 changed our country forever.
For our First Responder community, the memories of that day are especially personal. Some were already serving. Some watched fellow firefighters, EMS professionals, law enforcement officers, and ordinary people run toward danger. Others chose careers in public safety because of what they witnessed that day.
As we approach the 25th anniversary of September 11, we want to hear your story.
Where were you? What do you remember? Did that day influence your decision to serve? Is there someone you still think about every September? How did September 11 shape why you serve?
We would be honored to preserve and share some of those memories as we remember the lives lost, the courage shown, and the generations of first responders who continue to carry that commitment forward.
