The mystery is finally out! 👀🔧

Remember that “mystery delivery” we shared a while back? Well… it’s finally ready to get to work!

Meet our new SMART Machine Tool SV-4 CNC Vertical Machining Center.

So, what does it do? It gives us more capability for precision milling and machining, allowing us to take on larger and more complex parts while continuing to improve our accuracy, efficiency, and production capabilities.

Another investment in our shop, our customers, and what we can build right here in Michigan.

Mystery solved. 😉

🔦 Employee Spotlight: Meet Rhett!

Quiet? Maybe. Talented? Absolutely.

Meet Rhett, one of our welders who’s been with Breco for a year and a half. From welding and fabrication to helping wherever he’s needed, Rhett plays an important role in keeping our shop running.

A few things about Rhett:
🔥 Favorite tool: TIG welder
🚗 Hobby: Building sound systems for cars
🏈 Favorite team: Ohio State... GO BUCKS!!
🤫 Coworkers describe him in one word: Quiet

💬 Rhett’s fun fact: “Most people don’t realize arc flash can give you a pretty bad sunburn!”

Rhett says one of the things he is most proud of is expanding his TIG welding skills during his time at Breco.

🔦 Employee Spotlight:

Guillermo Castro

Meet Guillermo! He’s been part of the Breco team for 5 years, and chances are, if you’ve worked with us, you’ve probably talked to him or met him in person.

Guillermo wears a lot of hats at Breco. From providing technical support and helping customers troubleshoot equipment to traveling across the country to service machines, he’s always ready to jump in and help. He’s also a key part of building our Breco Dividers and is constantly looking for ways to improve them.

When asked what his favorite thing about working at Breco is, his answer was simple:

“I love everything.” ❤️

Outside of work, Guillermo enjoys working in his garden, building with Legos, and is a big fan of cars and Atlas F.C.

One of the accomplishments he’s most proud of is helping improve and perfect our Breco Divider by bringing new ideas to the table.

Fun fact: His coworkers describe him in one word… “Crazy!” (In the best way, of course!)

If you’ve had the chance to work with Guillermo, you know he always goes the extra mile to help keep your operation running.

Every day, this machine helps us manufacture precision OEM replacement parts and custom machined components for the food processing industry.

At Breco, we rely on equipment like this, along with the experience of our team, to produce quality parts our customers can depend on.

It’s just one of the many machines that helps keep Breco moving!

This week we’re introducing Tyler Bassage, our Lathe Manager!

Tyler has been with Breco for nearly 4 years and plays a key role in producing the precision replacement parts our customers depend on every day.

What does Tyler do?

In all seriousness, Tyler programs and operates our CNC lathes, helping manufacture quality parts for the food processing and packaging industry.

Did you know?
About 99% of the lathe programs Tyler uses are handwritten, requiring experience, precision, and attention to detail.

The relaxed work environment.

Outside of work
