Thermoplastic composites (TPCs) are transforming the performance of rotating equipment in energy, industrial, and aerospace applications. In a recent CompositesWorld podcast, Dave Noblin, Product Manager at Greene Tweed, highlighted key benefits of TPCs, including wear resistance, low friction, dimensional stability, improved efficiency, and lower lifecycle costs compared to traditional metals. Unlike metals, TPCs resist galling, corrosion, and wear, while offering weight savings of 40–60% in aerospace applications without compromising strength.

Learn more about TPC advantages and design considerations in the full podcast.
