Bennett's Custom Designed Rooms can be used for a variety of functions, including computer rooms, control cabs, observation rooms, operator cabs, manager offices, break rooms, shop foreman rooms, etc. Custom-built to your needs and installed on your foundation (ground-level or raised platform), these rooms can be installed inside or outside, and freestanding or attached to existing buildings. Our
all-aluminum construction system is easily maintained and resistant to chemical corrosion. Rooms are built to control dust and weather, and room temperature may be controlled with wall-mounted air-conditioning systems. Your building can be color-coordinated to complement its surroundings or to match existing buildings or company colors. Windows are made of one-inch thick insulated glass panels, clear or tinted. Wall panels are constructed of one-inch aluminum with insulated filler. Glass and wall panels have vinyl rubber gaskets to reduce noise and for easy removal. Entrance doors are available in full-glass, half-glass, and solid panel styles with standard pull and push bars, door closures, thresholds with seals, and keyed locks (optional panic hardware also available). Door sizes range from 36" to 42", as well as six-foot-wide pairs. Rooms or cabs can have center walls for dual operation such as double control cabs, two offices, one office and one control cab, equipment room and office, or storage rooms. Roofs are all-aluminum construction with two inches of foam filler between two sheets of metal. Made of twelve-inch interlocking panels with baked on enamel paint, roofs complete with gutters. From start to finish, lead times are very short. Most orders can be handled by phone or fax in hours. Rooms are prefabricated in our shop, delivered to the job site, and installed by our own professional installers. Most cabs can be installed in 10 to 12 hours, which means very little down time for you. And there are no long waiting periods for special permits or licenses. Rooms can be easily permitted under temporary building permits, eliminating a great deal of red tape.
