Maggie brings experience and insight that will be invaluable in taking the guest work out of finding the perfect Ghost saddle for you and your horse!

My introduction to Ghost started with great skepticism knowing spine clearance and weight distribution are kinda the whole purpose of using a saddle and most treeless saddle designs I’d seen failed to do both… 👻I know I just said the T word but don’t get spooked away yet! 👻
Because when a client asks me about an option I’m not familiar with, I’ll be the first to take a deep dive down the rabbit hole before I make a judgement!

How I feel about other treeless saddle designs- I’ll never recommend you use something that isn’t designed to fit and function properly for both you and your horse.
My appointment structure- everyone starts with a chalk back mapping and anatomy review, checking any saddles you already own first, and then pulling options I’ve sourced for you to try if needed! The goal is always to determine what actually fits!
My evaluations and recommendations- my goal is always to help you achieve the best fit possible, knowing a single brand will not be suitable every horse and rider. I will still happily evaluate any brand of saddle for fit, travel with a variety of options, and leave you with a report of what our appointment produced! This can include a back tracing and template instructions and/or information on a saddle you tried that fit well but were not ready to purchase at this time, that way you can continue to look for saddles that fit if our first appointment doesn’t produce a perfect match!
My commitment to transparency- Saddle fitting appointments are $160 (as of 3/2025) plus a trip charge with some discounts available for multiple horses or groups. Charging for fittings ensures I don’t rely on sales to make an income so there’s never be any pressure to purchase anything. If you have a question, just ask!
