700 hp on the street. Built to take 1,000. 🔥

From the Granatelli Motor Sports archives: Ford Muscle went inside the turbocharged 2008 Saleen Mustang we built for pro drag racer Troy Coughlin.

Here's what went into it:
🔹 330ci stroker with forged internals
🔹 Granatelli 2005-and-up Mustang turbo system with a 76mm Turbonetics turbo
🔹 Chassis and suspension mostly from our S197 Mustang line
🔹 Streetable on 91 octane

J.R. Granatelli told Ford Muscle the bottom end was built to handle 1,000 horsepower. That headroom is the point. An engine that isn't working at its limit lives a lot longer on the street.

Red List: Digs & Rolls presented by Modesto Toyota is coming! It’s our 1st time adding roll racing to our drag racing events and the event is Sunday Oct 18th 12pm-6pm at Famoso Dragstrip. We’ll have Drag Racing, Roll Racing, Donut Pit, and car show! It’ll be the first time we have roll racing at an event in CA! Can’t wait to see you all there! Tickets are in the link in our bio now!
