🎬 The LED Technology Behind Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day

What does it take to create the virtual production environments for a major Hollywood film?

For Disclosure Day, 4Wall Entertainment deployed Absen PR Series and PL Series LED across three very different environments—each designed to tackle a unique creative and technical challenge.

🔹 News Room: An Absen PR Series wall served as an in-camera weather screen for the film’s closing scenes.

🔹 Wardex Command Center: 10 Absen PL Series surfaces—5 wall sections and 5 ceiling sections—were integrated into the scenic design to create a massive surveillance multiviewer. Agents could manipulate content in real time, with up to 50 keyframed layers in a single timeline section.

🔹 360° Car Process: A 40.5m × 5m Absen PL Series main volume and a 7.5m × 7.5m LED ceiling supported 16K stitched spherical plates and a near-360° camera move—all without the need for a moving process trailer.

From in-camera effects to immersive 360° environments, LED technology helped bring some of the production's most ambitious scenes to life.

A new LED wall comes with a team that has to install it, learn it, and make it work. 🛠️

At a house of worship in Colorado, our technical service team supported a customer’s SA2.6 LED installation while construction continued behind the stage.

The work moved forward in phases, with the installed panels covered for protection during surrounding construction. Our team’s field update noted that the customer’s engineer felt confident completing the remaining installation with their own crew.

That’s the kind of confidence we want to help build through on-site support, troubleshooting, and training. The relationship continues long after the LED ships.
