Last weekend in Monterey, RM Sotheby's sold this 250 GTO (s/n 3413GT) for $48.5 million! The most expensive car ever sold at auction was built in 1962, won its class at the Targa Florio in ’63 and ’64, and was rebodied as a GTO/64 in period by Scaglietti.
