📣 June 2026 National Safety Month was one to celebrate at Viking-Cives Midwest!
🦺 We kicked off the month by displaying our Safety Month banner as a reminder of our commitment to keeping safety top of mind and ensuring every employee goes home safe every day.
⚠️ Employees participated in our "Why I Work Safe" campaign, sharing photos of the people, pets, and passions that motivate them to work safely each day. The teams enjoyed getting to see employees lives outside of work.
🥾 We also introduced Safety BINGO, and the excitement was contagious! Employees stayed engaged throughout the month, eagerly checking their cards after each drawing. Congratulations to our many winners across the division, who took home cash prizes!
🧑🏭 Every employee received a new SAFETY-FIRST t-shirt and a summer safety bag filled with cooling towels, electrolyte packets, sunscreen, and a mosquito repellent bracelet to help them stay safe on and off the job.
🎉 At our Morley location, we held several prize giveaways, with every employee eligible to have their name entered into the drawings.
🔥 We also featured one ultimate grand prize—a Blackstone Grill! Employees with at least one year of service at Viking-Cives Midwest were entered for a chance to win. Team members with 5+ years of service earned additional entries, and those with excellent attendance received even more chances to take home the grand prize. Congratulations to all of our raffle winners and thank you to everyone for your continued commitment to working safely every day!
🍳 We wrapped up National Safety Month with a special breakfast prepared by our GM, Dan Wheeler, for the Morley team. It was a great way to thank our hardworking employees and celebrate another successful Safety Month together.
