Last week Viking-Cives Midwest was proud to have the opportunity to host the SEMO County Commissioners for their annual meeting.
Prior to the meeting, Commissioners were invited to tour our facility, where they were able to take a behind the scenes look at our Production Process. It was a great opportunity to highlight our products , share key features, and showcase the craftmanship that goes into everything we build. We truly valued the time spent connecting, exchanging ideas, and strengthening partnerships that support our communities. Following the tour everyone later gathered at the local VFW to conduct their annual County Commissioners Meeting.

There was a great turnout at the Nashville APWA Conference on Thursday in Nashville, Tennessee. Local officials from across the area attended to explore products available through state contracts.
Viking-Cives Midwest showcased a City of Gallatin wing truck, featuring a custom upfit from our Tennessee facility.
We’d like to thank Cumberland International, McMahon Truck Centers of Nashville, MHC, Force America, Whelen, the City of Gallatin, and William “Rocky” Robinson of Nashville DOT for providing lunch, displaying trucks, and sharing product insights.
We appreciate the opportunity to connect with industry professionals and extend a special thanks to Jordan Estep and Chris Pobst for organizing the event, along with all vendors who supported us and our customers.

❗️WoW❗️Thomas W. Kelly School sure knows how to put on career events! 💥 This past week we were able to visit KHS for their career & college fair. HR Manager, Jennifer Barnett, was able to enjoy conversations with 9th-12th grade students. Hearing their goals is so exciting. We had several Aestheticians, Nurses 👩‍⚕️🩺, Welders (🤩), AI 🤖, and athlete professions.

➡️ Next up, Jennifer, along with Sales Assistant, Lauren Murphy, visited KES for their career fair! 🤩😬 We talked with students from Kindergarten to 5th grade. 😱We had lots of Vets 🐕, Doctors 🥼, Policemen 👮‍♂️, and firefighters 🚒 ❗️

😎 One thing is for sure - our future is BRIGHT with all of these motivated and excited youth! 😎

The Viking-Cives Midwest, Inc Nashville (Whites Creek, TN) team has reached a HUGE safety milestone!
🦺 Reaching this milestone is a shared responsibility between every person at the site - office to shop. Every single day we have safety standards to meet, regardless of production & goals. Our TN team is doing both, and doing a great job leading by example!
🦺 We are thrilled to know that our employees have gone home safe every day, and we hope our teams are carrying Safety First to their lives outside of work as well.
🦺 To celebrate this accomplishment, we have recognized our teams as a whole & through individual rewards.

🌟 Each month we attempt to attend at least 1 school/college/trade school event. Viking-Cives Midwest, Inc truly cares for students, job seekers, and our communities. We have built several relationships with career service departments, to help connect learning & job opportunities for individuals. We feel that sharing the work we do here sets us up for higher success, and a greater understanding of the young workforce, that is our future. 🥳

We have had a busy start to 2026! 👏

➡️ January 2026: HR Manager, Jennifer D. Barnett attended a mini career fair for welders, at Auto Diesel College, previously known as Lincoln Tech. With this being a smaller event, Jennifer was able to have more personable conversations with students and recent graduates. This facility is top notch. The visit resulted in interviews scheduled with students at our site in Whites Creek, TN.

➡️ February 2026: Aaron Miesner, Engineering Manager, and Jennifer, had a great experience at the Missouri University of Science and Technology spring career fair. They interacted with over hundreds of students from various engineering departments. The campus and program are impressive, showcasing the talent and potential of the next generation of leaders. Most exciting was students that visited our booth at the 2025 Fall career fair, who remembered us and intentionally stopped by to discuss current opportunities at Viking-Cives Midwest. We are glad to make a footprint at such a large event!

➡️ February 2026: After attending a career fair in November 2026 at the Ranken Technical College in St. Louis, Jennifer was referred to the Perryville Ranken Tech facility. They hosted a career fair for their approx. 120 students. Jennifer was able to meet with students in the welding & automotive field, and they were very interested in the work we do at Viking-Cives. We are excited to have started a relationship with their Career Services department, to have an additional resource in SEMO with connecting students to a career.

Looking back at 2025 there has been a lot of change happening at Viking-Cives Midwest. From building renovations, management changeovers, and heavy workloads there was never a time where our employees slowed down. We are proud to announce that due to everyone’s hard work that we are able to reward all employees enrolled in the ESOP program 9-weeks of pay as a way to sharing our continued success with the people who help make it possible every day. This milestone reflects the value our employee ownership program brings to the company’s growth and future. When Viking succeeds, our employees succeed! As General Manager Daniel Wheeler made his way through the company handing out the profit sharing checks he took the time to personally thank every single employee for their hard work. Looking forward into 2026, we thank everyone for their hard work and look forward to future collaborations and innovations within Viking-Cives Midwest.

🌟 It’s been an extremely busy year for Viking-Cives Midwest. While production has been such a huge focus, we are proud to say that SAFETY has remained our top priority!

🍽️ Last week we were able to provide a delicious meal to our hardworking employees, to celebrate 2️⃣0️⃣ months of safe work‼️

🦺 Viking-Cives has put a major focus on Safety for 2025, and we are just getting started. With the support of our Management and Leadership teams, we will continue to drive a SAFETY FIRST workforce.
