The one thing I hope you take from this... these logs were enormous!
And that is precisely why I so desperately needed this 35 ton woodsplitter from SuperHandy | Power Tools, Equipment, & DIY ... a man has needs, I'm telling you!
So a few months ago, my neighbor said he was taking down a few trees whose better days were passed. Being the firewood/fire addict that I am, I told him to feel free to drop them in my side yard. Had no idea at the time how absolutely enormous those red oaks would be! Or how many!
So when I spied this woodsplitter Hardware Huddle I knew it had to be. Goodness, do you understand how satisfying this is???
Bonus points for my new favorite boots from Carolina Shoe Co. Damnation I do love these things. Not getting paid to say that either. It's like my feet are talking.
And while I do enjoy this Stihl chainsaw with 28 inch bar, I'd be lying if I didn't say that I had my heart set on the Official Husqvarna USA I saw that day. Waiting. Wanting. Dreaming.
