PASSING OF ONE TORCH AND THE LIGHTING OF ANOTHER!

We hope this message finds you well and navigating these challenging times. It’s been a whirlwind eight months since we closed our doors, but rest assured, we haven’t been sitting still. We’ve been hard at work, and now it’s time to share some exciting news with you!
A dynamic family investment company from Virginia is in the process of acquiring all of the TCD assets, and together, we’ve been building something that’s bigger and better than ever before. In addition to camera rentals, this new company is expanding its services to include lighting, grip, production supplies and then sound—truly creating a one-stop shop for your production rental needs.
We’ve been consulting with the new team to ensure everything runs smoothly and that their offerings deliver the best quality and service you deserve. While the name may have changed, Eric and I remain involved as consultants, helping guide this fresh venture toward success. The new team we’ve assembled is fantastic, featuring some familiar faces from the rental industry and a bold mix of talented, young professionals—ready to make their mark on the industry. You’ll love working with them!
We can’t thank you enough for the unwavering support and the outpouring of love we received during those difficult times. Your kindness truly kept us going. Now, we’re thrilled to introduce you to Halwick Production Rentals (https://halwick.com), the new name for this exciting chapter. In addition to this collaboration, I’m beyond excited to announce my own new venture—The Village—which operates independently from HPR but under one roof and still shares a collaborative spirit with the Gdovic family.
The Village is not a rental company. It’s a forward-thinking, innovative space focused on education, technology, collaboration, content creation, networking, and community-building. This is a place where creatives of all kinds—whether you’re a rising filmmaker, a seasoned pro, or an industry veteran—can come together to learn, create, and thrive.

It’s where ideas are exchanged, skills are honed, and connections are made, all with the goal of driving real innovation in the industry.
