The end of the road for Road Race 1 as a parts business—but not the end of the passion.

After a lot of thought, we’ve made the difficult decision to close Road Race 1 when it comes to selling performance parts. This wasn’t an easy call, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who supported us along the way.

What hasn’t changed is our love for racing and this community. We’re still racing, still passionate, and still committed to giving back to the community that made Road Race 1 what it was.

From track days to phone calls, emails, and countless conversations about Mustangs—how to make them last and how to make them go fast—you’re the reason this meant so much to us.

We do have ideas for the future, but for now, we are closed for business when it comes to selling parts. If anything new comes together down the road, we’ll be sure to let everyone know.

Amazing weekend at Watkins Glen Internationall. We won our class (D) on day 1 & day 2! It was really close both days, but we 1st in our class both days!

Keith Long, Nick Redavide, Shawn Fultz and Timmy Nida drove hard and consistant stints. It amazes us the talent that everyone brings to the team on these weekends.

Micheal Nealey traveled so far to help us out and be part of the team. We are truely thankful for everything he does to help us out, whether driving, taking control of the radio to provide valuable feedback to the drivers, to the fastest fueler on the east coast!

We swept Mid Ohio with back to back wins in D class back in September, in the ChampCar Endurance Series, and did it again at Watkins Glen International this weekend. Four races, four wins.

From the drivers, team, and Guerrilla Motorsportss this is a dream come true in so many ways. Guerrilla Motorsports is best in the business if you want to win. Period. Contact Chris Morris, the owner, if you want a first class build that wins races. He has done so much for our team, that shout outs and praise can't do it justice. Contact him, give him your business.

It was a long drive from Charleston, SC to NY, but it was worth it. What we have put together with friends, and a decade of relationships built in HPDE events is truely amazing.

Relationships are the reason this happened. It take so much from so many.

We source and provide go fast parts, suspension setups and so much more parts wise to make this happen. Contact Guerrilla Motorsports and reach out to us for the off the shelf parts that are a large part of our success. We work closely with them for parts, sourcing, and they do the installs and custom setup, design, fabrication and put it all together to acheive what we have accomplished.

Its a dream come true for us, the perfect partner and we can't thank Guerrilla Motorsports enough for the partnership.

Switched Racing

We made big changes to Road Race 1 right before Christmas and what a transformation this has been.

It’s been very rewarding to Nick and myself (Shawn) talking to race teams, customers both past and new.

While things have drastically changed website wise it’s allowed us to focus on our existing customers and new customers that are like minded and truely want the best solutions.

While things look different at roadrace1.com and to be honest a little more work to buy from us, it’s been nothing but positive.

We are excited to keep Mustangs alive and healthy on track while handling amazing! We work with you hands on, all the details and considerations before the purchase.

Thank you to all of our customers and those who turned for the 2024 Road Race 1 annual event at Nelson Ledges Road Course.

Track walk, on track photos (prior to open lapping) and 5 straight hours of open track lapping, pot luck and so much more. Huge thanks to AutoInterests for working with us to make it happen, again this year, and their amazing staff and leadership. We can't thank you enough!

I can get wordy but I'm going to keep it short this year. You guys, our customers and friends motivate us to continue to organize this event each year. It takes more time and effort that most can image, but each year we leave the track ready to plan for the next year.

Thank you to every single attendee that we are proud to call customers and even those who couldn't make it but have supported us over the years.

About 6 years ago, Nick and I were attending an HPDE at Putnam Park and then Nelson Ledges shortly after that year, and thought, we rarely see these 79-04 Mustangs at the track anymore.

We thought, wouldn't be wild get a bunch of 79-04 Mustangs together for an event (before Road Race 1 existed)?. Flash forward to today and its a dream come true that happened over a few beers at Nelson Ledges.
