I am honestly fuming right now. Our apartment complex just approved $18,400 for a “professional sewer line replacement” and I walked outside to see this massive trench carved straight through the yard like they are building a subway system. The pipe is just sitting down there at the bottom while mountains of dirt are piled everywhere like a construction landfill. I asked the crew when they plan to fix the destroyed lawn and the guy literally said “once we fill it back you won’t even notice.” WON’T NOTICE?? There is a canyon running the entire length of the building. For nearly twenty thousand dollars I expected something precise and controlled, not a giant ditch that looks like it was dug by a bored teenager with an excavator. Am I crazy or does this look completely ridiculous???
