Steps to Reduce your IT Costs
Most small businesses start with an IT network that is simple, easy to understand, and easy to manage. Overtime new users, new equipment, and new software applications are added and the network becomes complex, no longer easy to manage, and expensive. Here are a few recommendations.
1.Replace old servers – new and powerful servers costs less to maintain, uses less energy, and increases productivity.
2.Remove software applications that are not being use and no longer necessary.
3.Combine servers, storage, and networking equipment to keep it simple and easier to manage.
4.Document cable connections and changes to make it easy for technicians to fix any connection problem.
5.Use Cloud Computing when appropriate so you wont have to acquire and maintain your own equipment.
