It’s a good idea to get things done around the house that need to get done sooner rather than later. First, you can check for low spots around your foundation: You may need to order a bunch of dirt to build up the area or may be able to get away with just re-sloping the materials that are already there. Another one is to deal with any areas of poor drainage. If re-sloping the ground doesn’t work, you may have to first dig up an area and fill it in with some crushed stone to help improve drainage.
