Muñoz provides fully equipped surveyors, utilizing state-of-the art survey equipment and software. In addition to Total Stations, Automatic and Digital Levels, Data Collectors and Global Positioning System (GPS) Equipment, Muñoz also uses HDS – High Definition Surveying equipment.

MUNOZ Engineering utilizes both Time of Flight (ToF) and Phase Based (PB) laser scanners or combination of the two types depending on site conditions and job requirements. Accurate laser scanning of existing conditions is facilitated by following strict field work guidelines ensuring optimal placement, as well as range and incident angle requirements for all features and surfaces to be located. Local and absolute alignment of point cloud data is achieved by incorporating professional survey control using paper and HDS targets. All point clouds are registered using physical targets and hard control marks as well as auxiliary temporary spheres and cloud to cloud constraints (where appropriate) ensuring optimal alignment within individual point clouds as well as to survey control.
