Sabir, Richardson & Weisberg Engineering and Architecture PLLC was founded in 2004. It is certified as a minority woman-owned firm specializing in mechanical, electrical, security, fire protection, plumbing consulting, engineering, architecture and design. SRW has an office in Manhattan, New York and an office in Sicklerville, New Jersey. Our team currently consists of 10-15 professional individuals and growing! By providing various professional services, it allows us to create holistic design solutions for our clients. At SRW we wish to use our many years of experience and the diversity of our staff and team members to create the best solutions for our clients We have developed skills and knowledge with various types of projects which have been gained by solving numerous challenges with creative and unique solutions for the best outcome. SRW played a pivotal role by offering comprehensive renovation and restoration services. These efforts were instrumental in transforming the building into a welcoming space poised to serve the public not only as a Tea Salon but also as a versatile Event Space.

SRW’s MEP engineering, in collaboration with Geddis Architects and Civil Engineers; Hudson Land Design brought the LEED-designed building to life. The MTA has committed to transitioning its entire bus fleet (5,800 buses) to zero-emission vehicles by 2040 which will reduce carbon emissions (~500,000 metric tons/year), help slow down climate change and serve as a model for other diesel fleet operators. SRW has served as part of their Architecture & Engineering team to evaluate, assess, and pre-scope their bus depots to ensure the facilities are prepared to support the electric buses with the required charging infrastructure and associated mechanical, fire protection and backup services to accommodate electric buses.
