Restoring Engine Company 28 - Sp02005 On April 14th, 2016, Retired FDNY SP02005 (Engine 28) was purchased from NYC DCAS. The rig was missing tons of parts, doors and other equipment.

The purpose was to keep alive the history of the former Engine 28 of the Lower East Side.
