Spent the morning cleaning up the gauge haul from yesterday’s pick and we definitely got some good ones… From clocks for ghias, type 3s and buses, to clear needle speedos for both bug and bus, even a complete set of gauges for a 64 deluxe bus… but my two favorites got to be the type 3 speedo with a km sticker on the glass and the awesome period correct German made 3 in 1 modest gauge that is not only a fuel gauge for your bug that didn’t come with one but also and amp meter and oil temp gauge!

I’ve been keeping these designs up my sleeve for a little while now and am now happy to announce that shirts with these designs will be available for the first time tomorrow at the Pennair Rallye! Stop by hang out eat some hot dogs and chili and be one of the first few to pick up one of these shirts!

The “Double Trouble” shirt features beautifully restored 1960 dove blue dc and freshly finished 1967 velvet green dc!

The “Because Racecar” design stems from and my joke that when ever someone ask why something is the way it is the answer is always “Because Racecar!” The design features his big bad orange 1961 notch back which was originally raced by Jack Rabold from reading area and of course our 1972 Lehr’s Esso slammed rally bug!

We always enjoy when visitors from out of town stop by, especially when they arrive in a beautiful buggy like this one! Rich and his family, who are fellow Manx club members, visited today, all the way from Massachusetts. While John took them on a tour of the facility, Anthony sneaked out to take a few photos of their stunning Manx 1!

PENNAIR RALLYE 3 is less than a month away! This year's route is 101 miles long through some of the best PA roads, and it will look amazing with the changing leaves! There are 6 photo checkpoints along the route this year. I'd also like to thank Adam Schreiber for doing the artwork for this year's poster! Tuesday was a very busy day that ended with us coming home with a lot more stock! From wheels galore to shop manuals to some water cooled VW and Porsche stuff to the even more exciting VW and Porsche Aircooled stuff! And much of what we got is either new or like new!
