Shipwright & Co. is comprised of two old friends, Jenny Kruch and Jessie Alberts, who share a love of art, design, coffee, food, and of course, beautiful letterpress printing. When a letterpress (specifically a new-style Chandler and Price circa 1911) came our way in January of 2013, Shipwright & Co. was born. A month or so later we added a Challenge brand manual guillotine paper cutter, another a
ntique piece of equipment that was built to last (and excel) for quite a few lifetimes. Our workshop is housed in a small garage in an especially lovely part of Napa, California. Surrounded by such beauty, we are especially mindful of being environmentally conscious in our print shop. We use vegetable oil and other natural products to clean our press, and use 100% cotton, tree-free paper. The cotton used to make our paper is a by-product of the cotton industry and recognized by the EPA as a recovered fiber. Please email us at [email protected] for business inquiries!
