About 13 years ago, when I was only 12 years old, my father decided to try his hand at climbing and cutting down trees. He bartered some climbing equiment from a friend of his that was in the industry and recieved a few lessons. He was a natural at it, probably from all the years he had spent repelling and rock climbing at red river gorge as a young man. He had some business cards printed up and b
egan to promote himself the hard way, by word of mouth. Two years later, when I was fourteen, he decided to bring me on the job as a helping hand. He taught me how to tie the proper knots, change the blades, and even work the chainsaw. Business was still rough though, as our client base was small and it seemed that word just wasn't spreading fast enough. We had the skills and the equipment, but not the client base to excell in the industry. Back then, facebook was still a new social media site and promoting a business on it was not an idea I had ever concieved. Fast forward several years ahead and social media has sky rocketed in popularity. It would almost seem foolish, to not promote our business online. So, I decided to create our local business its' very own Face Book page. Our hopes are that this page will increase in popularity and in turn, so will our business. We would have very much loved to have some of our clients post a review of our excellent work. However, most of our clients do not use social media, and we are not connected with the ones that may. So, through hard work and dedication, the reviews on this page will slowly increase and you will hear of what excellent service we provide.
