Vintage Steel Milk Can

25-quart capacity, with the original vented lid and dual handles. Two markings tell it's story:

ARMOUR - 85, LOUISVILLE, KY embossed on the body (Armour ran dairy/creamery branches alongside its meatpacking business in the early-to-mid 1900s).

Oval brass/tin tag on the shoulder: PROPERTY OF POTOMAC CREAMERY, HAGERSTOWN, MD.

The small vent holes in the cap and heavier three-piece steel construction point to an earlier build, likely 1920s–1940s. Surface rust is heavy but the can is structurally sound with no visible dents, and both handles and the lid are intact.
