Sound Farm Live is a relatively small company with capabilities of providing an equal array of quality sound to crowds of up to 2,500 people and as little as 50. Sound Farm uses only quality equipment and has the capability of providing approximately 110db of continuous sound ranging from 20Hz to 20kHz. Sound Farm provides all sound related equipment incl
uding Mics, Stands, Cables, D.I. boxes, Monitors, Mains, Subs, Consoles, EQ’s, Processors, Limiters, gates and compressors. Sound Farm is very confident in the equipment that we use and we are sure that it will satisfy you and your listeners. Sound Farm is currently using all JBL speakers. From the monitors to the thunderous low end, its JBL. We currently use SRX series mains and low end enclosures. Our top enclosures are SRX725s (pair of 15" Differential Drive speakers and a 4" compression driver, providing smooth, clear mids and highs). Our low end enclosures are SRX718s (18 inch subwoofers enclosed by a 13-ply birch enclosure that is rigidly braced for solid response and loss reduction). Mains and bottom end speakers are run (in stereo) through a DBX 223XL crossover and a DBX 231 Dual 31 Band EQ . We currently offer 4 separate, EQ’d monitor mixes. Each individual channel has its own DBX 215 Dual 15 Band EQ and is accompanied by a pair of JBL JRX112M 12” monitor wedges placed on stage at the discretion and comfort of each musician. All speakers are sufficiently powered by QSC RMX series amplifiers. We Currently use a 24 channel Mackie Onyx Console but are capable of providing up to 32 designated channels. We stand by the trusted name of Lexicon for our Effects and reverb and DBX for our gates and compressors. Shure and Audix are the microphones of choice for Sound Farm. We use SM58, SM57, Beta56, Beta58a, SM87a, and Beta52a microphones for vocals and instruments. We use Audix “D” and “F” series microphones for drums and instruments. The quality of our equipment is only as good as the ears that run it. Sound Farm engineers have been doing sound for quite some time now and as active musicians, have been playing even longer.
