Capivara Industries The Capivara adapter converts rear drum style brakes found on early to late model Toyota pickups with disc brakes from late model 4Runners. Pat pend.

Using this adapter, factory Toyota disc and e-brake parts are simply bolted to the existing axle housing.

Capivara disc brake conversion using 4runner rear brakes, OEM parking brake, increased WMS, and a 1541HM axle from Moser Engineering.

The final R&D step for having the adapters work on the gen3 4Runner and gen1 Tacoma with ABS. This axle shaft has a custom spot for the tone ring placement so that the ABS system will function as if nothing had changed on the truck. The original sensors and tone ring are still functional after the disc brake upgrade. Just like from the factory, but better.
