Can you bid online, or do you have to attend in person?

It's a question we hear often, and the answer is simple. You can do either.
Ed's Machinery auctions are open to both in-person and online bidding. If you can make it to the auction, you're welcome to preview equipment, register, and bid onsite. If your schedule or location makes that difficult, you can register and bid online with access to the same catalog and live bidding.

No matter how you participate, you'll have the same opportunity to purchase equipment.

Fields don't wait, and neither does the pressure to get one more load in before dark. We understand that urgency. But the machinery that makes this season possible only works because the people running it come home safe at the end of the day.

A few things are always worth the extra thirty seconds. Check your surroundings before backing equipment. Make sure grain cart and combine operators can see each other clearly, especially as daylight fades. And when fatigue starts to set in, take the break you need.

None of this is new advice. It's worth repeating anyway, because the middle of harvest is exactly when it's easiest to forget.

For buyers, settlement begins as soon as the auction closes.

Your payment is processed, your paperwork is signed, and you're cleared to arrange pickup. Some lots can be picked up the same day, while larger equipment or items requiring transportation coordination may take a little longer. Our team will work directly with you to coordinate the timeline.

For sellers, proceeds from a consignment auction are processed once settlement is complete and are distributed according to the terms of your consignment agreement.
