Worth the read! Also, “ Lions never have to let others know they are a Lion” - Grandpa Mohr
History often belongs to the person who gets to tell the story.
Two people can live through the same conflict and walk away with completely different versions of what happened.
One speaks first.
One speaks louder.
One has more people willing to listen.
And suddenly, their version becomes the truth everyone accepts.
But being unheard does not mean you were wrong.
Being misunderstood does not erase what you experienced.
Sometimes people will tell your story in a way that protects their image and makes you the villain. They may leave out what they did, what you endured, and what finally pushed you to respond.
You cannot always control the story others tell about you.
But you can control what you become after it.
Know your truth.
Learn from your mistakes.
Keep your character.
And never let someone else's version of your life become your identity.
Eventually, the lion must learn to tell its own story.
