Sea Turtle - available hanging from a chain OR mounted as a garden stake!

Both made from reclaimed materials: used horseshoes from local Amish farriers and railroad spikes from Illinois rail tracks.

Welcome to Dawg's Ironworks!
Meet the owners, Shannon & Michelle Laue, a husband and wife team. Shannon "Dawg" retired as a welder for the City of Mattoon Public Works Department after 36 years, while Michelle is a middle school ELA teacher. It was always Dawg's dream to own his own welding shop. When a devastating work injury occurred in 2020, the welding shop dream began to morph from repair work to something much more creative! Dawg now uses his welding and blacksmithing skills to create unique and meaningful gifts!
