Richer Elementary PTO

Richer Elementary School PTO The PTO sponsors a wide variety of programs and events throughout the year.

The Richer School PTO is an organization whose mission is to strengthen, enhance and encourage the educational and social environment of Richer Elementary School. Our goals are to complement the school curriculum with additional opportunities for parents, teachers and students to learn, socialize, communicate and grow. Because we are a PTO, we do not pay any dues to state or national organizations

and instead keep all of the funds that we raise for our school. Through many different fundraisers, the PTO also organizes and funds cultural art programs, which complement and increase the educational opportunities for the students. Other contributions include, but are not limited to: field trip supplements, book fairs, free book distributions for each student, classroom equipment such as document cameras and iPads, and donations of playground equipment for recess play.

LUNCH IS SERVED! 🥪🥤

Before Open Door Night, we treated our amazing Richer staff to lunch from Buffet Way! 💙

After all the classroom moving, decorating, organizing, and cleaning, our staff definitely earned a little fuel and fun! 🙌

They’ve been working hard behind the scenes to get Richer ready to welcome our students back, and we couldn’t let all that hard work go without a THANK YOU! ❤️

🤩Want to see your child’s face light up when you volunteer this year? Stop by the front office during Open Door Night to fill out a CORI form and get ready to volunteer!

We have so many fun events planned for our students, and our Richer Community is what makes it all happen! 🎉

We had an amazing time at the MPS Back-to-School BBQ today! 🌟

It was wonderful meeting Richer families, helping them sign up for Box Tops to support our school, and giving families a chance to enter our raffle for Needohs! 🎟️

🎉 Congratulations to our two raffle winners! We hope you enjoy your Needohs!

And a BIG thank you to Richie, our school mascot, for bringing so many smiles to our students’ faces! 🐾🧡🖤

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hello, and helped make today such a fun event. We’re so excited for another amazing year with our Richer Elementary community! ✨

Thank You, Richer Families! 🧡

A huge thank you to all the families who came out for our Kindergarten Meetup! It was wonderful meeting so many new families and watching our students make new friends. 💛

A special thank you to Paul King and Heidi Roemmele, who were amazing with our students! The kids had so much fun exploring the school bus, learning important bus safety tips, and of course, enjoying the lollipops and coloring books. 🚌

We also enjoyed a fun scavenger hunt and an extra-special surprise visit from an ice cream truck! 🍦

We love seeing our Richer community come together to support, celebrate, and create special memories for our students. Thank you for helping us make the start of kindergarten so exciting!

Tomorrow is our last Walking Wednesday of the year at Richer Elementary! 🐯🧡🖤

Join us at 8:10 AM in the 99 Restaurant parking lot as we walk to school together with our special guest, Richie the Tiger! We hope to see lots of students and families there!
