Kline Custom Airboats

Custom built Airboats Construction is all rivited similar to a airplane or helicopter, providing super strength and light weight.

Kline Custom Airboats are completely custom built from top of line materials, hulls are constructed from all aircraft aluminum, bottom & sides are alloy 7075 T6 .090 thickness. All tubing structure, engine stand and seating is constructed entirely of stainless steel for strength & longevity. The aircraft engine is a Lycoming 0-540 cubic in. 300 HP.@ only 2900 rpm. Our Airboats are designed to run

in extreme locations and is very light making it agile & extremely powerful. The Lycoming aircraft engine is also very reliable, as it is designed NOT to fall from the sky. When properly operated & maintained these airboats can provide 20 to 30 years of service in locations no other equipment can go.

Kline Fulldeck 12x7 powered by a Lycoming O-360. These lightweight smaller boats are an absolute pleasure to drive they're extremely agile and plane off with very little effort. I enjoyed building this Airboat for the Bernet Family Marty, Beth, Ellie, Andrew. Its great to see Families out enjoying the Airboat Life in God's Country

Another New Kline Design, among many boat builds this a new design that has been under development for some time. Meet the MKline 'Stealth Eagle 12' approximately named because of it's lighter weight' and it's agile abilities to run around easily this boat is 12 long' x 7'6" wide with 19.5 " sides it's built with a 6 cylinder Aircraft engine in mind and will be extremely stable, plane off easy and yet remain very agile and be an easy runner on the hill or marsh it's designed to be more lightweight than Our Traditional Deck over boats but still offer the no flex or twist ruggedness along with the security and walk around decks of a deck over boat while saving weight by eliminating structure and decking materials that goes into a deck over all while having easy access to a large opening for cargo, coolers, wildgame ecetra. This 12' x 7'6" boat weights in at 331 lbs while retaining it's strength but it could be even more lightweight upon special request. And Unlike traditional deck over boats This new unique design of the rear deck with splash wall is built in 2 sections making it easier to repair in case of any damage from Propeller debris also this design would Not need any deck removal when adding or replacing Polymer. This boat can be built in various sizes from 11' to 12' long x 7' wide would be a great size for 4 cyl Aircraft engines while a 13' to 15' long x 7'6" or 8' wide would be suitable for higher Hp engines or V8 engines. Different types of Kline Airdozers custom built by Mitch Kline. Each boat built to customers specific needs. Top of the line Quality = Performance and Longevity for many years. These 3 boats are powered by 620 hp Ls engines built by Waterthunder Performance they have Stinger Softdrive Gearboxes, Whirlwind Propellers. The Green boat has a large opening for hauling gear or cargo and is used in the Alligator industry for Alligator Egg Collections in Extreme conditions in Louisiana. The Blue boat is an all around fulldeck with polished Stainless steel metal works it's a beautiful go anywhere boat. The camouflage Fulldeck boat has Aluminum metal works and Air Ride it's mostly used for hunting. All 3 boats are 14'x8' riveted construction using Aircraft Aluminum materials 7075 t6 and 6061, each boat has a Full Grass Rake with standing platform and storage, fulldeck boats have removable hatch door assembly and a front hatch aswell. The Experience and Knowledge building these boats dates back from the 1950"s when Bill Kline made his living building and running Airboats in the Everglades along with many other Old Time Pioneers, as the years go by they adapt and continue to evolve with Knowledge and Technology comes change but knowing what works from Experience is key to success.

A Kline 12ft open hull powered by an IO-360 in Alaska Our customer also friend fly's over very remote areas where people don't go with his small Cub Aircraft in search of large Moose then makes is journey across the Alaskan Wilderness by Airboat many many miles in the middle of God's Country by Airboat for the hunting Adventure of a lifetime. Congrats Mr Donnie on an Incredible Animal it weighed approximately 1,300 lbs then they quartered it up and made the long journey back. What an Adventure

Installing Polymer correctly is a critical part of manufacturing an Airboat to ensure performance and longevity. We begin by using the best blend of UHMW GXP next it must be stretched using even heat the sun works best note pictures show measurements of stretch length is almost a full inch beyond it's cool measurement and width stretch is 5/8 beyond when it cools back down the polymer is extremely tight fitting to the hull this insures a true a flat running surface that will last many years. Our polymer is also always riveted on this process is a lot of work but anything worth while is never easy. Have a great day Enjoy your Airboating Fellow Airboaters
