This story of Lizzy Rain proves why it is never too late to start chasing your dreams in life.
Lizzy started wrestling at 23 and already felt she was late. Being from the UK made WWE feel like another planet away - like telling your mum as a kid you want to be an astronaut, and getting that gentle “maybe try something else, sweetheart” response.
Everything seemed stacked against her: the age, the distance, not growing up in the American wrestling system… but she still showed up, put in the work on the indie scene, and kept chasing it anyway.
Now she’s living what less than 1% of people ever get to experience - her actual dream job. She is working for WWE as a Superstar.
This is such a powerful reminder that sometimes the dreams that feel the most unrealistic are still worth going after.
