Under the hood of one of my tube mic power supplies. It's been 20 years since I first stuck my head down this rabbit hole, building over 100 tube mics before I shut it down. But the mics are out there, making music, in many corners of the world, and it just makes me so happy.

Another killer video from the Spicer record "Wow and Flutter." It's been out a good while, but it just ages like fine wine...

Everything about this takes me right back there. The sound of my '53 Martin on the opening strains, Tom Freund's bowed bass, Andy Kamman's tippety tappety drum mallet vibe, and AKS smacking the heck out of the electric guitar to coax the right chimes out of it, true witchcraftswomanship...Malcolm's mix, and all those great vocals...wowza

I didn't have anything to do with the video but I know it was an equal labor of love, and it also hits out of the park.
