Overview:
As a Davis & Plomin Senior HVAC Technician, you will install quality heating and cooling systems for our commercial customers.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for communication of product and service options with the customer
• Use of phone and technology to communicate with customers and other technicians
• Identify the appropriate way to satisfy our customer's needs through the various services and offerings
• Diagnose problem areas and identify preventive maintenance issues
• Gather all appropriate tests performed during maintenance to include static pressure, refrigerant charge, and amperage draws
• Provide parts assistance and oversee inspection of equipment
• Assist with project management of HVAC upgrades and installations
• Provide assistance on the development of HVAC upgrades and installation estimates.
• Provide an amazing experience for your customer on every call
• Perform all work with accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements/Experience:
The successful candidate must have a minimum of ten years commercial HVAC install and service experience. Experience with Boiler, Chiller and Cooling Tower experience is preferred. Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Journeyman HVAC license is required. An active driver’s license is required, as the position will support central Kentucky.
Physical Requirements:
HVAC Service technicians do active and strenuous work. They must frequently stand for long periods of time. They also do extensive kneeling, squatting, and stooping, and are regularly required to reach over shoulder heights. Sheet metal mechanics may be exposed to extreme temperatures and weather conditions, may need to ride or drive in a vehicle for 2 or more hours at a time. Occasionally, sheet metal mechanics need to safely lift over 50 pounds and encounter confined spaces.
