October is Fire Prevention Month, an important reminder that fire safety starts long before an emergency happens.

Residential fire sprinkler systems are designed to help control a fire at its source, improving the opportunity for occupants to safely escape or be evacuated.

The REHAU FIREPEX® residential fire sprinkler system combines flexible RAUPEX® PEXa pipe with FIREPEX fittings, REHAU F1960 and EVERLOC+ compression-sleeve technologies, to provide a secure, reliable, and efficient installation.

FIREPEX serves the requirements for fire sprinkler systems as defined by National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard 13D Installation of Sprinkler Systems in One-and Two-Family Dwellings and Manufactured Homes and the International Residential Code Section (IRC) P2904.

Next week, REHAU Water Technologies will be at the Canadian Hydronics Conference, September 23–24, connecting with industry professionals and exploring how hydronic systems can support more sustainable, energy-efficient buildings.

During Thursday’s breakout sessions, Saeed Danesh, M.Eng., will present “Heat Smarter: Leveraging Radiant Systems for LEED Certification and Carbon Reduction.”

Saeed will explore how radiant heating systems can enhance energy efficiency, thermal comfort and indoor environmental quality while supporting building electrification, LEED certification and measurable carbon reduction.
