Experienced a scammer with the business.
They contacted me with very specific requests at a local address. I got suspicious when they said they just bought the house, but were on vacation and would be moving in when they got back, but who am I to judge.
I went and looked at the place. Everything they requested to be done was there, so I worked an estimate and sent it to them.
They agreed to the estimate. I said I required half up front since I had not met them. No problem!
They insisted that they pay with a mobile check. I told them I only accept cash or credit cards, Apple Pay, or Zelle/Venmo.
They said they only had access to mobile checks. BIG RED FLAG🤣🤣🤣
I repeated that I only accept the previous forms of payment and asked how they heard of my business. Within seconds I was blocked.
Hahahahahaha
Dang scammers!
