Look at that Wildfire Shield in action! This home now has added protection against the Moon Complex Fire currently burning in Oregon.
Flying embers, nearby spot fires and radiant heat from an approaching wildfire are no match for that Base Perimeter Wrap!
The Moon Complex 10/21/25 Update: Current Status: A significant portion of handline repair has been completed along the northern flank of the Moon Complex. Firefighters continue to make steady progress with chipping operations along FSR 5520, supporting ongoing suppression repair efforts. On the southeast flank, a skidder operation has been completed, and dump trucks remain on site to remove excess debris. Along the southern flank and river corridor, crews remain active, patrolling for isolated heat sources and advancing both suppression repair, and backhaul operations. Additionally, an excavator successfully completed repair work on a section of dozer line along the southern flank. The Burned Area Emergency Response (BAER) team continues to survey the fire area and evaluate damage to vegetation, including canopy and root systems, as well as roads, stream channels, facilities, and cultural resources. Their findings will be reported to the US Geological Survey and made publicly available. Hazard tree removal along Bear Camp Road will continue for the next several days. The operation includes coordination with dump trucks to remove excess limbs and debris from the cutting area.
Weather: A brief warming trend will persist through today ahead of an approaching cold front. This warm weather is not expected to have any significant influence on fire activity. Heavy rain and high winds are anticipated to arrive late on Thursday and persist through the weekend. 📸 Along The Rogue River.
