I know it has been a while since I posted on here, but life has been crazy. Unfortunately with all the things that are happening in my life I am having to put Michael Burks Photography on hold until further notice. Thank you to all that have supported my work and have allowed me into your lives to photograph you and your families. I feel truly lucky for the opportunity that I have had to meet you all!

It has been a slow summer, but winter is already ramping up with one month fully booked. I am so excited!!!

I don't typically photograph weddings, but I helped a friend last weekend. I had a great time and came away with some good pictures. I got to photograph the bride while the other photographer shot the groom.
