Goodbye 2024, hello 2025! The past year was filled with fun and challenging projects that we were happy to help our customers with. We head into 2025 with excitement and enthusiasm for all the new challenges and projects that will come our way, to continuing to serve our customers and community as well as building relationships with new ones, and for the completion of our new shop! We were glad to help another local business this week, Vinny's Original Brooklyn Bagels, by keeping an important machine working. We've been BUSY!!!

Yes, it's been a long time since we posted regular content, but we have a good reason! The new Zoom-Pony Fabrication shop is well underway. We still have a long road ahead but things are moving right along. Since May of 2023 we have been busy with all of our site work to prepare for the now built 4,800sqft workshop. We will be able to take on more and bigger projects once completed. We will continue to work hard over the next several months with a tentative grand opening planned for mid summer 2024.

Thank you to all of our customers and viewers for your continued support through this growth process. Keep an eye out for future updates and more regular project posts coming up soon!

If you’ve got an equipment problem, we can help solve it! This customer brought us a hydraulic demolition hammer that was setup to fit a Cat excavator. We modified the mounting bracket so it could accept the customer’s Kubota machine. We also had new hoses made and tested it to ensure it’s ready for use. Warm weather is right around the corner, and with that comes train rides! We helped out our friends The Stourbridge Line keep things on track with some much needed maintenance during the off season. A very worn and integral part of a rail car needed replacing. We helped redesign and fabricate a new piece to keep this antique going for generations more. We never know what is going to come through our doors here at Zoom-Pony Fabrication. This project consisted of repurposing a light fixture from the worlds fair that the customer brought to us and turning it into a unique sculpture for their private backyard. We manipulated it to match the customer’s vision and mounted it onto a pole with a base, ready to be bolted to a concrete pad. The customer is going to finish this off with some colored insert panels and lighting. Contact us for all your custom fabrication needs!

Custom fabrication is our specialty. If you have a problem that needs solving and the solution is not readily available for purchase, that is where we come in! A perfect example of this just left our shop not long ago. This tracked aerial bucket lift had a flaw. The oil pan for the engine was left unprotected and vulnerable. It had been damaged multiple times while in use resulting in costly repairs. We where able to help the customer by fabricating an HD skid-plate to completely protect the oil pan from any future damage, all while maintaining the same ground clearance and providing a factory quality fit and finish. We got to help out our good friends The Stourbridge Line with another project recently. An integral part of the frame structure on a rail maintenance vehicle failed and needed some serious reinforcement. We removed the fatigued material and replaced it with double the original spec material. We completed as much fabrication as possible in our shop and then finished the repair with onsite installation of the new piece. Contact us for all your custom fabrication needs!
