Processing wood for a living, we see a lot of different types of wood come through our yard. But, the other day, we got to process a whole load of chestnut oak. It's the most beautiful wood and some people think it smells like nutmeg!

While processing logs, sometimes we run into some crazy things! Check out this huge wasp nest we found inside of a hollowed-out log right as we were about to run it through the processor. Spoiler alert: nobody got stung! But we did have to snap a picture.
