Cory Hedgecock Racing to Support Breast Cancer Awareness
Loudon, Tennessee (09/19/17) – Breast cancer directly and indirectly impacts millions of people in our great country each year. More than 300,000 new individuals are diagnosed with the vicious disease each year.
Odds are pretty good as you are reading this, you are nodding along that it has either impacted you or someone you know.
For the month of October, Cory Hedgecock is going to use his Cushman #23 Valley Transport/ Rocket Chassis XR1 Crate Late Model to bring awareness to the battle against breast cancer.
The team will have a place on their familiar #23 where names will be listed of people who are fighting breast cancer or have lost their lives in the battle.
“My team and I wanted to do something positive to bring additional breast cancer awareness to the racing community,” Hedgecock said. “It seems like every day you learn that someone you know is being impacted by breast cancer, and I just want to do what I can to salute these brave folks and to bring more awareness to the battle.”

The next event for the team will be a trip to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama) this weekend – September 21-24. Cory will chase a $5,000 top prize in the 45th annual Alabama State Championships.
