✨ We are excited to showcase one of our latest projects abating asbestos from and demolishing the former South Portland Middle School making room for the new facilities.

♻️The school's new building includes energy efficient modern infrastructures including 532 solar panels on the roof and exterior walls that will generate an estimated 180 kilowatts of power, and systems to collect rainwater onsite to irrigate the adjacent sports fields.

Safety and the importance:

Have you heard the term "tool box talk?" In the construction industry that term relates to the informal group discussions that focus on safety issues. Every morning on our jobs sites, PBCE teams gather to talk freely regarding the potential hazards they could face throughout their time on the job and what measures should be taken to avoid further risks. Here are some examples of what might come up :

*first aid

*vehicle and traffic safety

*confined spaces; using equipment, tools, and appliances

*personal protective equipment

*electrical safety

*falling objects hazards
