Called the "Kirkland Castle" in Texas, these photos courtesy of Forbes.com. East Texas estate Kirkland Kastle is constructed from nearly 6,000 local logs custom-milled by the owner. The second photo shows the sports bar in the entertainment area of the home. This home was for sale a couple of years ago for $4 million.

"Divide Camp honors the service of our combat veterans by giving back through outdoor adventures including hunting, fishing and other sporting and recreational activities. We seek to aid healing and build hope for our service members wounded in action." Customer Julie W of Camp Divide sent us this photo showing a log lodge being restored at the Camp. They are using Log Jam chinking here (http://www.loghomestore.com/c188-sashco-log-jam.php) and applying it with a pump. Next month the camp is having a wild game and salmon benefit banquet for post 9/11 combat wounded veterans. For more: http://dividecamp.org/.
