A little over a year into his time with us at Crane Engineering, Aiden has been learning quickly and making a big impact on our service team.

He’s been a huge help with ITT Goulds Pumps rebuilds and is also getting more experience out in the field, working alongside our experienced, long-tenured service technicians. It’s been great to see him continue to build his skills and take on new challenges.

We’re glad to have you on the team, Aiden! 👏🔧

As PFAS remediation projects continue to expand across the U.S., project teams are looking for more than treatment technology. They're looking for systems that are easier to deploy, easier to relocate, and built to adapt.

Modular remediation skids help bridge the gap between engineering plans and field implementation, giving contractors and municipalities greater flexibility throughout the life of a project.

PFAS remediation requires practical solutions.
From treatment to removal, we're helping customers move from PFAS challenges to proven solutions.

A new submersible pump from KSB Solutions in the USA, ready to work at a local lift station. 💪

Our service team removed the existing pump and transferred the guide shoes to the new KSB pump. The team then routed the pump’s power cable through the existing conduit and connected it to the control panel. After verifying the pump’s rotation, they lowered the new pump into the wet well and test ran it, confirming the water level dropped as expected.

Our service team rebuilt a large Xylem A-C split case pump for an HVAC manufacturer. The pump was refurbished to OEM standards at our service center before heading back to the plant.

Now, Chandler is handling the installation of the rebuilt pump. A reliable part of our service team for more than four years, Chandler is helping get this pump ready to go back to work. Great work, Chandler! 💪

A paper mill was spending too much time waiting for whitewater to reach operating temperature during startup while dealing with ongoing maintenance on traditional heating equipment.

After installing a Hydro-Thermal Corporation Hydroheater® Direct Steam Injection (DSI) system:
✔️ Startup time reduced to less than 2 hours
✔️ Whitewater reached operating temperature 20°F hotter
✔️ Reduced breakdowns during startup and grade changes
✔️ Eliminated extensive maintenance
✔️ Increased production efficiency

These are the kinds of results we look for when recommending Direct Steam Injection. If startup delays or heating challenges are impacting your operation, let's start the conversation.

Discover how direct steam injection technology enhances paper manufacturing by improving whitewater heating, reducing maintenance, and boosting production efficiency.

Heating a slurry. Heating wastewater. Heating a viscous chemical stream that fouls every exchanger you've thrown at it.

Indirect heating wasn't built for any of these jobs, which is why plants running them keep replacing exchangers, chasing temperature, and burning more steam than the energy audit predicted.

Direct Steam Injection is built for exactly these jobs:
- EZ Heater: economical, rugged DSI for water heating, tank heating, and general industrial duty
- Hydroheater: Hydro-Thermal's flagship modulating heater for slurries, chemical streams, and high-turndown applications (the Jetcooker variant is the starch-cooking workhorse)

Bulk fluid heated in a single pass. ±1 °F control. Steam efficiency at or near 100%.
