For 15 years, Paul Melanson has been an important part of our Service & Repair team. Whether he's tackling repairs, supporting customers, or helping wherever needed, he's always willing to jump in and get the job done.

With a machining background and experience working on a wide variety of pumps, Paul enjoys the challenge that comes with something new every day. From inspecting and changing seals on Grundfos pumps to taking on unique repair projects, it's the variety of work that keeps him coming back year after year.

His dedication extends beyond the shop floor. When our Service Center expansion was completed, Paul was one of the team members who helped paint the facility, demonstrating the pride he takes in Crane Engineering and the work we do.

This year, Paul even increased his time with the team, spending more time helping support our customers and service operations. Thank you, Paul, for your hard work, dedication, and the positive impact you make every day!

From teardown to reinstall, our service team gave this vertical turbine a second life. 🔧

After removing the pump from service, our team completed a full refurbishment including:
• Replacing worn line shafts and bearings
• Upgrading from packing to a mechanical seal
• Machining and restoring critical components
• Applying a protective epoxy coating
• Precision wear ring work to restore proper clearances

Once back on-site, the team reinstalled the pump, set impeller clearance, aligned the seal and motor assembly, and verified proper rotation and operation before startup.

Please join us in celebrating an incredible milestone. 🎉

This week marks Sue Petit's 50th work anniversary with Crane Engineering.

When Sue joined the team on June 1, 1976, Crane Engineering had just 15 employees, no service department, and no computers. Over the past five decades, she has witnessed tremendous growth while helping shape the company into what it is today.

What's especially remarkable is that we still serve some of the same customers from when Sue first started, and we continue to represent longtime partners like Viking Pump and Goulds Pumps. Through it all, Sue's dedication, knowledge, and commitment have been a constant.

Sue, thank you for everything you have contributed over the last 50 years. Your impact on our team, our customers, and our company is immeasurable.
