I hope everyone had a safe and pleasant Memorial Day! We attended a ceremony on the Courthouse grounds and then spent the afternoon watching baseball playoffs, it was just about perfect.

Everybody ditched me and went to bed so late night post alert:

Just finished my first rendition of a Bull Cutter Knife. Now, I know what you're thinking; you're not sure if you need a Bull Cutter, maybe you haven't even been invited to a branding yet this year. All those things could be true, however just picture how embarrassed you'd be if someone called you at the last minute to come help with the cows and you just aren't prepared.

The other alternative is that you are prepared. In this scenario you're right there in the thick of it. A calf gets thrown down, you jump right in and give it the old one-two, casually flinging the now unaffiliated testicles over your shoulder, wipe your custom handmade Bull Cutter on your jeans, squat next to the branding fire, spit in the dust and say "Yup." Instant street cred. That's right friends, this knife may not make you a cowboy, but it'll help for sure.

Knife is Procut steel with Cocobolo handles and leather sheath. First of its kind as I decided to try a new design. Shoot me a message if you'd like to give it a whirl.

Wallowa County was holding it's 2nd Annual Veterans Resource Fair where they invite all Wallowa County Veterans to a free dinner and showcase services available to those veterans who have sacrificed much on our behalf. I sent a knife to be given away as a door prize for veteran attendees to help (hopefully) generate interest in the event. Congratulations Richard on winning aforementioned knife, I hope you enjoy it! Thank you Wallowa County for putting out this effort to help our veterans!

Let's talk about Mountain High Broncs and Bulls. It's a great rodeo put on by some great humans here in our community. This incredible event (June 20th here in Joseph Oregon) is not only a great way to spend an afternoon, but is also absolutely FREE to attend. That's right, free to everyone. What a great way to further the sport of rodeo! I'm excited to be a part of it by providing knives as prizes in the events, as well as a few that are pictured below for the organization to use for fundraising. Knives are Procut steel with handles sourced right here in the county: Juniper, Elk antler and Stein's Distillery Bourbon barrel. See you all in June!

Alright folks, here's a special knife. Blade is forged from a vintage rasp file, custom engraving to celebrate FFA. Handle is made from salvaged flooring from the Joseph Charter School gym fire several years ago and still has the original floor paint on it. I'm running short on this material until the next gym fire. :)

You can only get this knife by attending the Joseph FFA dinner and Auction May 1st here in Joseph, Oregon! We'll see you there!
