Now hiring professional landscaper and snow plow operator for the remainder of the lawn season and for the winter. ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE A DRIVER’S LICENSE! We never have positions open for anybody without a drivers license, so do not inquire. We are looking for people that are experienced in landscaping, commercial lawn care, and snow removal using a pick up truck with a snow plow and possibly a salt spreader. Mowing your grandma’s lawn with a push mower and shoveling your neighbor’s sidewalk does not count as experience. Must have a strong work ethic, always show up on time, and have excellent attendance. Starting wage is at least $17/hour and pay will be more for those with experience and can prove that they are 💯 reliable and capable of performing the job. wage differential is paid for snow removal and an experienced operator can earn close to $30 an hour in the winter time. This is a physically strenuous job and you must be in appropriate physical condition to perform the tasks required by the job, and have the ability to work in the heat/cold throughout the year. We want to hire somebody that can eventually run a crew and work independently after learning the jobs. This is not a temporary job, and we do not have part time positions available. Work schedule is typically Monday to Friday 7 AM to whenever…typically 8-10 hours per day, with some Saturdays as needed when there are rain days during the week. Plenty of overtime is available in the peak season.
Winter schedule is typically 2 am - end of storm, and is dependent entirely on when it snows, which could include weekends, holidays, early morning, evenings, or anytime of the day.
If you enjoy doing physical work outdoors, then you will enjoy this job. If you don’t have experience or the ability to do physical work, this job is probably not for you. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
