Klover in the World Series coverage

Sports Video Group’s story on how FOX Sports is handling World Series audio includes a section on Klover (“Sitting in Klover”).

The backstory: FOX called us around 11:00 AM on the Saturday before NLCS Game 1. We built four KLOVER MiK 16s, and their driver picked them up at 3:00 PM the same day. The compact 16s let the A2s try spots a full-size dish can’t go, like aisles.

After the NLCS, Fox wanted more reach, so we turned around four KLOVER MiK 26s the following week. You could see them in action at Game 1 of the World Series last night.

Four hours from phone call to pickup, and a quick swap when the job changed. When a broadcast crew needs something, we make it happen.
