The 3D Printer is coming in handy. We needed to cap the ends of this Dixie cap handrail for the potbelly balcony railing we are getting ready to install this week, so after a couple test pieces to dial it in we are ready to print it in Black ASA filament since the railing will be black. Completed pictures to come once it’s installed! You never know what we will be doing next.

Something new us and Southern Shores Fence and Rail are getting into! We are starting to do some of our own powder coating. Right now we only have a 4’x4’x6’ oven but we will be expanding it from 4’ long to 12’ long before to long. We are in the learning process right now but this will be a game changer as far as turn around time on certain items we can do in house and not have to send out. Stay tuned for more improvements!!

When you have to make 40+ ovals for a stair rail out of 5/8 solid rod and they don’t have a small enough die for your bender you improvise and make your own die!! It might not be the prettiest but it works
