My latest project has been working on this trailer for an ag spray drone. I was asked to double the length of the existing platform, reinforce the existing section, and make collapsable railings for the operator. Now the operator can stay safe on top of the platform, land the drone further from himself, and be closer to the fill tanks.

For the platform I copied the existing design of 2x3 square tube for the frame and 1.5” angle to support the boards.

To reinforce the platform I cut 6” gussets out of 1/8” on my plasma table. I ended up adding 22 of these gussets to the existing and new parts of the platform. It amazed me how much these gussets stiffened up the structure.

The railing is made of 1x1 square tube with round tubing for the hinge. I added smaller 4” gussets to these to keep the weight low but add support.

I’m super happy with how this trailer turned out! I always like trying new projects, especially big ones like this!

I delivered my first powder coated firepit and lid last night. These were both finished with high temp powder, hopefully it will hold up to the heat of the fire and keep a nice look for a long time. This pit has Lions, MSU, Redwings, and Tigers designs. Thanks Jeremy!

Here’s some mobile aluminum work I did on a couple of Semis.

I cut out the tore up sections in the fenders, made 3/16” aluminum patches to match, and TIG welded them back in.

I did some small crack repair on thinner areas as well. I drilled the ends of the cracks to prevent further cracking and then welded them shut.

I’ve spent the two last weeks patching and painting the rockers, cab corners, and bottoms of the doors on this 2007 silverado. I’ve been wanting to do this for a while and finally got the opportunity. This took a lot of time, effort, and money but turned out better than I expected. With some higher quality patches I think I could make it look factory.

I learned a lot about metalwork and painting throughout this project. This took almost double the time I thought it would but I can say I loved every minute of it. I know these aren’t perfect, but I can confidently say I learned enough to make the next ones unnoticeable. If anyone else out there is brave and wants a set of rockers done, I’m looking for more to do!

My first time cutting 1/4” went better than expected. I cut two full sheets of these teeth headed to make a rock bucket. 2 outside teeth and 18 for inbetween. These teeth have notches to slide tubing through for easy assembly. I’m super happy with how well these cut. Thanks Chance!

Here’s a couple of recent projects. A 60”x18” sign and a paper holder for cattle pens. Both are powder coated by Tyler at Mid Michigan Offroad & Powder Coating. He does great work very reasonable.

I couldn’t find a welding cart that I liked, so I decided to make my own. Tyler also powdered this to match the colors of my machine. This turned out awesome!

❤️❤️ Valentine’s Day is only a month away, get a gift that’ll last forever!!❤️❤️

I drew the shape of these flowers on my computer, cut them out on my table, welded them together, and then hand bent them. The flowers are made from aluminum, which will never tarnish and always have a nice shine. Each bouquet will come with 10 flowers.

The best part of these bouquets, the vases, are all made by my grandpa. Since they are made out of wood they will not look the exact same, but have the same shape. Each vase is roughly 10” tall and 4” wide.

Due to the time it takes to make these bouquets I’ll only be putting a few sets together. I’m asking $200 for these, please message me if interested!!

Here are my last two firepits of the year. The larger firepit is 36” across and all five sides are FSU. The smaller pit is all U of M designs. I was able to accurately scale this firepit down to 34” across.

I was able to take these two company logos and turn them into cuttable files. They turned out awesome! Thanks Ian!
